Job Description:
A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Completes accurate and timely insurance verification and data entry
in EMR software
Ensures services have approved authorization prior to scheduling
and submits third-party payer authorization requests
Communicates with front office staff to maintain a clean billing
process and escalates financial clearance risks as necessary
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of patient account management experience in a
hospital or physician practice setting preferred
Basic accounting skills are required
