Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Claims Administrator to
assist clients in increasing revenue through prescription drug
funding.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize proprietary software to match provider specialty
information with clinical data related to prescription drug
programs
Assign task statuses based on reviews to ensure compliance
documentation is accurate
Request additional information from physician offices as necessary
while protecting patient health information in accordance with
HIPAA guidelines
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and proprietary
software
Knowledge of prescription drugs and pharmacy terminology acquired
through work experience as a pharmacy technician or in the medical
field
