Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records to identify and assess coding
opportunities for risk adjustment
Educate providers on documentation improvement for chronic and
major medical conditions
Develop educational materials to enhance clinical documentation and
support coding capture
Required Qualifications
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Risk Coder
(CRC)
Advanced knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
Associate degree in healthcare or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with CMS HCC Risk Adjustment coding and data validation
requirements
Computer literacy in medical information systems and records
management software
