Job Description:
A company is looking for a Denial Follow-up Specialist -
Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting
payors and patients
Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing account
inventory
Document account actions and communicate issues related to
insurance collections
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in
business administration or accounting preferred
1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections
experience
Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid
insurance
Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
