AMI is seeking a Full time, 32 hour per week Mammography Technologist to join the team in the Toms River, NJ, Route 37 West office location! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.AMI offers a generous compensation and benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, Paid Time Off (PTO), 401k and profit sharing and the opportunity to work in an exciting and progressive outpatient practice!The Mammography Technologist is responsible for but not limited to:Performs mammography examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology department.Utilizes instructional information and methods as established by the management.According to office policy, provides for the safety, health and well-being of all patients, visitors and co-workers. Becomes familiar with and ready to respond to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice.Performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occurs daily.Provides informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel assigned to the work area.Utilizes all departmental clerical equipment including computerized information system, copy machines, etc., to ensure that all required office record keeping and documentation is accurate, timely and accessible.This 32 hour per week position will be based in AMI's Toms River office location on Route 37 West. The work schedule includes 7am-3:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday off. The day off during the week could change based on office needs.Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with Mammography certification. Candidates must have a current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of NJ. CPR/BLS certification (hands-on instruction) required prior to start of employment. Must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection.
