Job Description:

A company is looking for a Category Manager responsible for developing and driving category-specific strategies focused on best value and Total Cost of Ownership.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate best-in-class Category Management fundamentals to optimize price, quality, delivery, service level, and overall value
Lead RFx, negotiations, supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and compliance/legal management for defined categories
Provide category and spend informatics support and analysis of business operations and financial data to identify supply risks and sourcing opportunities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in General Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
3 or more years of work experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, consulting, or comparable functional experience
In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain related processes and systems
Experience with creating manual RFx's and managing the end-to-end process
Intermediate and above skills in Microsoft Excel
